Summer Kids Camp Returns to Alamo Drafthouse
The Drafthouse is offering affordable summer entertainment with weekly movie screenings.
Austin area Alamo Drafthouse theaters are kicking off the summer with the annual Kids Camp screenings. The program is geared toward children and their parents and will feature family-friendly films each week June 12 through Aug. 27.
Screenings will include classics such as Mary Poppins, along with new favorites like Despicable Me and Night at the Museum. Parents are asked to accompany their children ages 3 and older. Ticket prices are in the form of donations and vary from $1 to $3. All proceeds go to local nonprofits, such as Ronald McDonald House and Creative Action.
