I recently attended my first Austinwoman Magazine breakfast with such fantastic panel speakers as Marcia Ball, Gay Gaddis, Judy Maggia and my personal favorite, Elizabeth Avellan, who shared with readers that she had six children do their own laundry when they turned 10. Now that I introduced this into my household, my children hate me but at least I spend less time folding, sorting, and putting away clothing. I was thoroughly impressed with the high caliber women attending the event - there was so much talent, creativity, intellect, and entrepreneurial spirit under one roof. Extremely motivating. Thanks for continuing to bring us great news, interesting women, and wisdom to share.

I found the video informative and well done. I am always supportive of women who are in a "power" position and especially if it's in a male-dominated field. Chief Kerr gives all women, and especially younger women who may be struggling to figure out what they want to do with their life, concerning career goals, a "voice" and motivation to try anyting.

Each month you all provide very healthy, infomative, positive and motivational information. Things I share with other women in my circle as well as try looking at life through different eyes which can be enlightening. While all at the same time being an Austin Native born and raised here makes me even more proud to see how far we have came and grown up to be more exciting then ever. Also having an opportunity to meet Editor Ms. Connelly in person a few months back during a Jury Summons was a true pleasure. Everytime I read some of these article I feel as if I have went on a small vacational journey. Thank you all and keep up the great work that you all do so well.Hope Davis

I LOVE Austin Woman Magazine. One of my lifelong goals is to be on
the cover of Austin Woman. Every time a new issue comes out I look at that
person and imagine myself there. I always feel so uplifted when I read the
articles in Austin Women Magazine. In some ways it reminds of how good I
feel when I read Oprah Winfrey's magazine; however, I am very grateful that
Austin Woman related to local women and events. It is great that Austin
Woman has a digital edition too - that is very environmentally sensitive.
I've been to several Tiaria Tuesday events and I've also donated gift
certificates to the events. It is fabulous having such a great networking
resource in Austin. The new website design and layout is incredible. Keep
the light shining. I hope I win the $500 gift certificate to milk+honey and
I hope that someday I will be on the cover of Austin Woman Magazine so I can
actualize a dream and fulfill my heart's desire. Warmly, Ariana
