Cover Story

54 Christy Pipkin

Love As a Renewable Resource
Humanitarian, executive producer, wife, mother-of-two and breast cancer survivor Christy Pipkin (and husband Turk) are working on a global level to create awareness, impact change and impart action to solve some of the world’s biggest problems – poverty, lack of clean water, nutrition, education, health care, overpopulation and environmental change to name just a few – through their nonprofit foundation, The Nobelity Project. Their recent films (One Peace at a Time + Nobelity) asked Nobel laureates, scientists, philosophers, politicians + thinkers, “what can we do?” In this issue, we ask Christy the same, as well as find out how she stays at peace in her own life and work, despite how sometimes overwhelming the task.
