Shawn Colvin has been a fixture of the national folk + pop music scenes since the early '70s. She reached the heights when Sunny Came Home became Record + Song of the Year in 1998, shortly after her album A Few Small
Repairs went Platinum (1996). Now 54, she is still recording and touring, having just released her 9th album in 2009. Originally from South Dakota, we explore what makes this Austin woman, mother and artist so happy here and why she says, "There’s no place like Austin."
